{"id":257,"date":"2009-05-13T10:35:28","date_gmt":"2009-05-13T14:35:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.willhackforsushi.com\/?p=257"},"modified":"2009-05-13T10:36:40","modified_gmt":"2009-05-13T14:36:40","slug":"wlan2eth-12-release","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.willhackforsushi.com\/?p=257","title":{"rendered":"Wlan2eth 1.2 Release"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wlan2eth is a tool I wrote to convert 802.11 packet captures into Ethernet-style captures; I find this useful when working with various sundry tools that don&#8217;t properly handle 802.11 frames.<\/p>\n<p>Adrian Crenshaw sent in a bug report for wlan2eth where he was getting the following output:<\/p>\n<p><code><br \/>\n$ <strong>.\/wlan2eth ..\/forjosh.pcap out.dump<\/strong><br \/>\nConverted 0 packets.<br \/>\n<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Turns out I didn&#8217;t have support for other 802.11 packet capture link types (Adrian was using PRISM_AVS).
