I'm taking a little hiatus following wrist surgery for CPS relief.  Even though I only have one hand to type, my alligator clips and the Kensington Wireless Presentation remote are making some progress.  The example below is my Parallax Oscilloscope showing a clock source on channel 2 (red) and data on channel 1 (blue).  Unless my high/low binary skills are failing me, this is indicating a value of 0x81/b01010001, or 0xAE/b10101110.
